    1. Amen. Also, check your email. We need to set another date.

  3. The only one going to get you out there is you. What are you waiting for?

    1. This whole "earning a living" thing really gets in the way of fishing. But I do like the paycheck. :)

  4. It must begin... I went fishing last week and it was great. Didn't catch anything and the snow was still deep but I did spook a few shadows. A few small caddisflies skipped around but no rises. Of course I'd rather be golfing.

    1. I'd rather never golf. But I would gladly fish and not catch anything. I see a window opening....

    2. I'm torn by the four letter word and fly fishing. I often think of fly fishing when I see a pond or stream running through a fairway. I've promised myself that this year I will golf less and fish more. The wife always questions why I choose the most expensive sports. But golf is far more expensive than fly fishing and far more stressful. I think the tail waters may be calling you this weekend Steve. I'm heading out Saturday leaky waders and all. You should too.

  5. You are not alone. I drove by some of the local rivers today and they are really high. I will probably wait until the weekend.
