Good day! I said, good day!

Even as an adult, I approach an early season snow storm with a bit of wonder. It's probably nostalgia. I also think that it gives purpose to the cold weather. And the white makes the gray of winter a little less shabby.

It's March. My wonder and nostalgia are gone. This weekend's storm, named by sensationalist morons at the Weather Channel, will pass to our south. Flurries today. Less than an inch overnight.

Good day, Winter. You are dismissed.

  1. time for scouting, wtma's and sea-runs. opening day a week earlier this year? this snow might melt by then. I checked photos from last year, and sea-runs were St. Pattys day... maybe a little later this year

    1. Just got back from a scouting trip. Still lots of ice on the small rivers. Looking forward to water that looks like something a bit more fishable.
