Not for Fly Fishing
Was toying with visiting a small tailwater nearby after work.

Of course, it would have helped if I had remembered  to put waders and a rod in the back of the car when I left this morning.

  1. Yeah that would help for sure. Maybe barefoot and a willow branch, paper clip and some feathers from a nearby ladies hair:) Tie some of that string from your socks together and wolllaa. Tight Lines.

  2. I actually have some flies on my desk here at work. And, I think I have a spool of tippet in my glove box. You're right, roll up my pants and grab a willow branch and I'm good to go.

  3. I'm not sure if that is my desk or your desk...I think you and Trout Magee have it figured out....where there's a will, there's a way :-)

  4. So tonight didn't work out on account of a forgotten task: Buy my son a birthday present.

I'm forgetting a bit much these days.

I promise at some point in the near future to forget my fly rod and make an attempt at catching in the manner proscribed above.

  5. Some days you have to be satisfied with just being out on the water if for no other reason than the fates have thrown every impediment in your way (or you were dreadfully incompetent due to your haste).
